I have a pc getting wireless, I have 2 ethernet slots on my motherboard (dfi, giga actually) and I want to route one of the ethers to act like a regular feed to the internet so my lappy can connect. What do I do?, internet connection file sharing?

btw, im running xp pro.

Yes you could set up Internet Connection Sharing on the machine with 2 Ethernet ports so it could share Internet access with other machines, but I wouldn't recommend it. It's a much better idea to just get a router for sharing Internet access. It's easier to set up plus you don't have to expose one of your machines directly to the Internet.
