How do I share a homemade *.mpg created with Studio DV with my Mac buddies?

I have a Win98 machine and Studio DV. I want to burn some CD's to send for Christmas but there are a few of my friends that have Macs only. Can I put the *.mpg in a format that the Mac can play and then just put both files on a CD that I can send to everyone?

Aren't mpg's cross-platform? In other words I think macs can play mpg's.

Shouldn't they be able to play mpg's? You can also try turning the files into a VCD(s).

Mac's can play standard MPEG1 files fine, just burn the MPEG's as a data cd and they shouldn't have any problem playing them. Macs only have a problem with MPEG2(used to make SVCD)and Divx files.

smbu,
How do I make a VCD?

Edit: I see a bunch of stuff on vcdhelp.com. Guess I'll study up there.
