how do I setup pc to constantly playback audio input?

I hooked up my playstation 2 to my pc monitor and the only thing I cant get is sound. I have to input the sound into my PC sound card and somehow have it just send it directly to my headphones... how can I do that?

I'm pretty certain you can't. However, there are a couple of options...

You can use a TOSLINK to connect to your receiver, then plug your headphones in. If your amp is capable of doing Dolby Pro Logic II, you'll have surround sound gaming.

Along those same lines, if your computer sound system can take TOSLINK and has a front headphone jack, there you go. I don't think you'll get surround gaming tho', unless your system can do Dolby Pro Logic II.

cool i got it... i was plugged into the mic jack before, but now I found a line in jack and its coming through perfectly.
