How do I setup a "Dual Boot" system???

I'm going to be upgrading to a Maxtor DX740 80 gig drive and would like to setup a dual boot using Windows XP and 98SE but don't have a clue as to how to go about it. Please help 🙂

Can I do the same thing with "Windows ME" on "C Drive" partition and Linux on "D Drive Partition" or do I have to make a special boot diskette? Thanks for any help as my son is interested in trying Linux.

yeah, that should work just fine. Linux should hopefully make a boot loader for you (LILO) which will allow you to use either windows or linux.

My win98se on C: slowed down. All my goodies on D:
Can I install another win98se on E: partition?
(configuering it at my own pace while using old one for a bit).
Thanks

no, not really. when you install 98 on E it will forget about 98 on C...you won't be able to boot up into it.
