How do I set up RAID 0 with an ASUS A7N8X?

well non Deluxe's don't have on board SATA so you would need to buy a PCI SATA RAID controller for that. I believe they can be had for $30 or so from newegg I'm not sure on this though. Then you would plug the two Drives in, enter the Raid setup an off you go.

What's a good brand for a SATA RAID controller?

What do I need to do differently from a normal windows XP reformat / fresh windows XP install to get RAID to work?

At the beginning of the Windows install, it'll ask you to press F6 if you have any additional drivers. Get the drivers on a floppy and press F6 when it asks.

Both drives should be set for master I suppose? What is a good brand of controller card. Sorry this should be my last question.

Looks like it costs closer to $60 for a good one. I have been kickin myself in the ass ever since I decided to save a few bucks last year by not getting the deluxe version of my board.

Oh Sorry I heard this LSI was good but according to the reviews on Newegg some people are not getting it to install right. Might want to look into it a litte closer though It costs $30 + $5 for shipping.
