How do I set up my RT314 router?

Same old, same old. Sharing RoadRunner between 2 computers and I can't do the usual AIM transfers, connect to DALnet, host games / FTP's, etc.

I did a quick search on this topic and tried the suggestion of setting the default port forwarding to 192.168.0.2 - my computer.

This worked great, I was able to connect to DALnet, send / receive files through AIM, etc . . . except now I can't access web sites. I think it's a DNS problem because I can still ping sites and visit / refresh the web sites I had previously visited.

The only way I got rid of it was to just reset the router back to default settings. Any suggestions?

You have to open up some ports to host games and such. Check out http://practicallynetworked.com/howto/ for more info specific to your router.
