I have a Win2k comp and Win98SE comp that i want to netwrok together and share the DSL....i have everything I need I just need to know how to set up the IP stuff since my DSL provider has "Get IP Automatically" instead of having me put one in....what other things do I need to do?

very simply, either buy a router and plug them both into it and the dsl into it for the most worry free and most efficient solution, or a more cost effective solution would be for you to throw two nics into the win2k box and use it as your server, plug the dsl into one and run a crossover cable out to the win98 box from the other nic, right click my network places, go down to properties, go to the lan adapter icon #1 or #2, whichever one that has your dsl and click the internet connection sharing tab, share the connection and thats it.
