How do I set password-protect folders in WinRAR?

Having gotten a new widescreen LCD monitor, I've recently ripped many of my DVD movies to my hard drive for easier viewing and so I won't have to scramble to find the damn disc. Call me paranoid, but having compressed them through WinRAR, I would like to setup a password to my WinRAR dvd archive starting from the folders, but for some reason, WinRAR only lets me do so with the individual files. Its kind of pointless to set a password when a person see what I have inside the zipped folder-is there no way to password-protect it from the folder level? The zipped folder is about 9GB.

Sorry for the double post, but I realized that the Software forum seemed a bit more appropriate for my question than the technical support.

If I remember correctly, WinRAR allows you see a list of the files but you can't actually extract them without the password. I know, sometimes you want to prevent anyone from even seeing whats in there but I am not sure you can do that with WinRAR.

when setting the archive password, I tick "encrypt file names" and it will request a password before viewing the contents of the rar file.
