How do I set an air exchanger?

This probably sounds dumb, but I have never had or used an air exchanger before. I recently moved in to a new place that has one. How am I suppose to set it? There is a dial with low temperature levels on it, am I suppose to set it to what the temperature is outside?

Perhaps contacting the unit's manufacturer for an owners manual would be a good idea. They may have a site where you could just download a copy.

Looks like a humidistat...set it to the approximate outside temperature.
