How do I seperately save an audio track off of an AVI?

What I'm trying to do is extract the audio off of a divx movie (Buffy the vampire slayer: once more with feeling). It's supposedly in MP3 format, if that helps.

Any suggestions to what software I should use?
 
Try virutal dub. It will let you extract the audio track but it might only be able to put it in an avi container instead of standalone mp3. not really sure.
