How do I send something via MediaMail?

Its generally cheaper than regular mail, right?

How would I go about sending something via mediamail?

1) go to the post office
2) wait in line for an hour because theres only 2 clerks working and one of them goes on break for 15 minutes while you're there
3) ask one of them

So I just write Media Mail in the postage area and go to the post office and ship it?

Thats what this is telling me, anyway.

If you go to a post office clerk, they will stamp media mail on it for you. If not, apply suitable postage, write "media mail" in a visible manner, and drop it in your mailbox or at the post office.

(I don't know if there any pecularities that require one to take a given package to a post office clerk.)
