how do i sell a stock certificate?

i have this common stock certificate that my mom wants me to sell for her... she bought it 3 years ago and isn't too familiar with trading, neither am i.

so she gave me her certificate and stuff to help her sell, but i'm not sure how to... can etrade do this for me? or some online brokerage somehow?

if you actually have a certificate then you need to go to an office of a brokerage house to sell it, you cannot trade it online
