How do I save my microsoft outlook info before my reformat?

I will be reformatting in the next month and intalling windows XP from windown 98se. I have saved pretty much everything I need to about 5 cd's now my question is how do I save my Microsoft Outlook emails and contacts? I seem to be having problems finding it. I have Outlook and not express. thanks.

outback plus 4 is a proggy that does that for you. Beware, I used the demo version to back up but found that I needed to buy the real version to restore. Don't make the same mistake. I owned the version for outlook express and was very pleased with it. Find them here Linkage

The DEFAULT location for the (Win9x/Offc2k)PST file is located in:

Windows \ Local Settings \ Application Data \ Microsoft \ Outlook

You can verify where it is by checking:

Control Panel \ Mail
on the Services tab click Personal Folders \ Properties
