How do I run this game

I play alot of Doom 3 and Quake 4 multiplayer...and I want to run it at a higher resolution. Right now it is running 1280x1024. I would like to go as high as I can on my screen. My LCD goes up to 1920x1080.

Is there any type of edit or file hack that will allow this ?

Did you try this. If you do, the only way to tell if it works it to take a screen shot, and see how its saved. It does not show up in the menu settings. So just ignore that when you run it.

I know that Quake 4 allows you to change into wide screen format. Under the options menu there should be something like aspect ratio and you can set it to 16:10 and select 1920x1080. I'm not sure if it goes up that high but I know that it at least goes up to 1680x1050 because I run it at that. You may have to patch it to the latest version in order to get this to work. Now, for Doom 3 I'm not sure if it natively supports widescreens so you should just go check it out on widescreengamingforum.com
