This is what i was afraid of...I'm too new to be jackin' with this stuff. I've built one other machine before (P4) and it ran like a champ (and still will) for 6 years. Bottom line on the old rig: it won't play Black Ops. So I built this one last week:
P8P67 Pro
i5 2500K
CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 Model CMX8GX3M2A1333C9 (after further review, this mem is not on the QVL
OCZ Fatal1ty OCZ550FTY 550W
Corsair H70
other stuff
I've been following the threads here, and on other forums, about the mother board. I successfully flashed the bios to 1053 and then later to 1253. The only trouble that I've had so far is the double post issue and that was cleared up with the 1253 bios...it's ran stock for a few days with no issues.
I have two issues I am hoping someone can help me with:
1. I ran the TurboV EVO program, went to Auto Tuning, set it to fast and let it go. It did what it does, rebooted and came back saying that there was a 31% increase and that all went well. I named and saved the profile with the intention of running some tests in the next couple of days (Prime or whatever you guys suggest). Then I hit the OS default settings button thinking that it would return to the original settings and nothing happened. How do I get it back to the original settings?
2. I do not trust that I am getting what I'm supposed to out of this memory and simply put; I have no clue as to how to find out. I do not have the expertise enough to look at the numbers a tell.
Please, will someone look at what I post here and tell me what's up. If you need more info...let me know.
BTW..I'm not trying to set any overclocking records here...I just want a stable, 24/7 rig that I can get my game on with. I've already played COD4 for a couple of hours and it does great...I should of left it alone. TurboV EVO seemed easy enough and I figured I could just return it to it's original state until I had a chance to test it out.
I hope you guys can read this...if not tell me and I'll try something else.

TIA,
Cap
