When my system crashes it pops up with a want to send error BS to Microsoft. How do I get rid of the dumb a$$ box?

I remember reading somewhere that it is possible get rid of that box. I will look again...I think there was a link to a guide somewhere on the Rage3d.com forums. This may not be much help but now you know it is possible;) If I find it Ill edit the post with a link....

Edit* I believe it is buried somewhere in this guide

Edit* More specific instructions

The first link just explains the service and dosent provide instructions on disabaling the service.

Sniper, you can turn it off in the My Computer/Properties, but can I ask why you want to? They don't send any personal information, but they do send information on the crash that occured. MS uses these crashes to determine the 'most' problematic drivers/applications and they *do* work third parties to get the issues resolved. Think of each error report you submit as a vote for 'this crash keeps happening, fix it dammit!', the more votes the more priority MS gives the issue.

Well the error might not be in the software it could be in my piece of crap PC. Maybe it was the reason for the crash? Just don't want to have to click 2-3 different boxes when my system crashes.

Thanks SteelyKeen, I lost that program when I did a format and I couldn't remember the exact name, I love it, thanks again.

Best regards
