How do i remove the 1 min loading when i start Half Life 2?

I know there is a command we can add to the shortcut icon...i dont remember.....anyone can remember or help?

To get rid of all the intro screens? I can't remember it, but google could probably help. Maybe even search in the Software forum.

HL2 expansion in the works... due later this year I believe.


I don't remember the exact way to do it, but there is a way you can give HL2 just a black or single image background in the menus... the same way CS has it.

Adding -console makes it so it doesn't load that whole environment in the background of the main menu. That cut down on the load time for me.

have you made it through nova prospect yet? one of the most fun levels of the game.
