Chuckie: the best thing to do is the following:

First, insert meta tags in the html pages at the top. Include Meta keywords, and meta description. I believe a lot of search engines check the first like 14 words of your page, so make sure they are at the top. These get good priority. Also, the Title gets excellent priority when the search engines look at it. So make the title as descriptive and unique as possible.

Second, get a good program like Top Dog, they have trial versions, but i don't think they let you submit your site.. look for warez, or buy it. I use it and its a good program. It will let you register to over150 search engines at one time. Keep in mind, some sites like Yahoo, etc, purposely make you go in and select a category as to avoid spamming... don't submit too many times.

Submit once every couple months to each website again.

If you register once with each major engine, and then do the first step i wrote, meta tags, etc. it will definitely help you. doing the title words also helped tremendously.
