how do i realign my printer cartridge in windows xp?

my printing is all garbled up and i cant find the option

Sounds like your printer driver is all screwed up. Download the latest from your printer's web site. Then remove the printer from XP and follow their instructions for reinstalling. Most ask you to install the printer software first, then plug in the printer and connect it to the new drivers.
