How do i read korean fonts within programs?

I have Korean IME installed, i also installed the language pack from office2k. needless to say the korean font works fine in my web browser (IE) and MS Word. However, whenever i use programs like kazaa, edonkey, etc. i can't view the korean font and get the gibberish characters instead. is there any way i can view the korean characters with what i have. if there is no way, do you recommend a certain program as a solution?

Thanks.

Under Regional Options in Control Panel, you need to set your Locale to Korea. Ensure that Read/Write Korean is selected beneath that as well.

thanks for the advice, did everything you said, but the only thing that changed was my date/time in the taskbar was in korean. everything else (korean files, korean font within programs, etc) are still not viewable.
