I have to be honest, I have a really bad study habit. I push EVERYTHING off until the day it is due. I have four huge assignments due in two weeks and I keep telling myself, "tomorrow, i'll start" BUT THIS NEVER HAPPENS. I procrastinate until the day it is due. What do I do?? My study habit is suck

You start. :)

Only you can make yourself start. You've got to sit down, rid youself of distractions and go.

Making a schedule might help. For example, say you have a 7 page paper due in a little over a week. Work on a page a day.

Take Ritalin ;)

Seriously though, only you can motivate yourself. Instead of looking at it as a huge bump in the road, take it one thing at a time.

Unless you honestly do have ADHD the reason you're putting it off is because it just simply is not important enough to you. I'm a chronic procrastinator, though not nearly as bad as I was a few years ago. I was the same way. The fact was things just were not important enough. I'd get stressed out when the crunch came and hate what I'd done, but then do it again. You simply have to come to an awareness at some point that its no longer worth it. For me I had a "wake up" call whereby I nearly f**ked myself very much harder than I should have and that served a beneficial purpose.

Fail out of university and you'll wake up, but hopefully it won't take that :)

It's called discipline.

And it's hard as hell to start developing it. You decide that keeping your committments to yourself is important, then you keep those committments.

On the bright side, it does get easier with time.

Face it. You need help. Your mother would be happy to keep pushing you (nagging, etc.)
