A friend of mine lost their garage door opener, and got a programmable remote from a hardware store.
Their opener is quite old. There's no automatic reprogram button available. Attached to the main chassis is a small box with an antennae labelled "CODE: ###-##"
where ###-## is a numeric code.
Is there a standard method for translating this code into a binary format that I can input into the remote's bank of switches?
It's an Overhead brand garage door opener. Not sure of year or model, but if it's original to the house it'd be mid to late 70s
