How do I print from my laptop to my desktop's printer?

I have my laptop, and my desktop sharing a connection and networked through a router. There is a printer hooked up to the desktop, and I want to be able to print off that printer from my laptop. I have win98 on the desktop, and winxp on my laptop. How do I go about making this print sharing thing happen?

On the machine that has the printer you have to have file and print shareing enabled. after this is done just click on your printer icon and look at properties just set it as shared just call it printer. Go to the other machine and go to add printer and add the printer, it will copy the driver from the printer machine over to the non printer machine. Enable file and print sharing on that machine also, Set the printer as default on both machines.
