Get a better lock. I know someone who just has a standard combination lock on their trunk.

I have a lot of expensive stereo equipment in my car, I took receipts for everything I had to the insurance co. and they made photocopies, so if someone steals my sh!t, big deal.. insurance man will buy me new better stuff :D

how about a good bumper sticker: "this car is protected by C4" ;)

or maybe "the last guy who tried breaking into my trunk is still in it!"

;) (i know, i know, don't quit my day job)

3 easy steps to a secure trunk

1. Place valuables inside trunk.
2. Weld trunk shut.
3. Your trunk is now secure.

Connect an electronically triggered flash. Set it up so that it triggers a xenon strobe placed near by when you touch the car. The electric field caused by thief sets off a trigger on xenon strobe set in a fake camera mounted to nearby object. The theif will think he's been photographed and run before he does anything to it.
