Question How do i overclock a i7-10510u

Ive never overclocked a cpu before, im trying to overclock my i7-10510u in a laptop currently cunning at 1.8ghz.
Model :zenbook 15 UX533FD
CPU: i7-10510U
GPU: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1050 Max-Q
RAM: 16GB

I would recommend against OCing a laptop CPU, especially if you have never done OC before. I am not even sure this is possible. That said, if you want to get into OCing and computer hardware enthusiasm, I would recommend picking up a used Intel unlocked CPU and matching board for it, and build a desktop around it. Then you could get start having some fun and get practice.

I'll sell you a board and cpu for a decent price if you want to learn, i have an i3 8350k and board I'd be willing to part with if I had a buyer

I wouldn't waste my time. Laptops are really thermally challenged as it is. Plus there are no options in the bios to do anything. Not sure about software overclocking hacks but I would advise against it.

Why do you feel the need to overclock that cpu? You do realize that 1.8GHz is just the 'base' speed. It can turboboost all the way up to 4.9GHz depending on the load.
