How do I network two routers so that all computers belong to the same workgroup?

Here's my situation. I have a linksys BEFSR41 router with 3 computers hooked to it. I also have a Trendnet TEW-311BRP wireless router connected to the uplink on the linksys. I have one computer on the wireless network. I want all 4 computers to be recognized as part of the same work group. I want to have access to files on all 4 computers. Currently, the 3 computers connected to the linksys router can share files back and forth between each other. The computer on the wireless connection seems to be isolated from the workgroup. Can anyone help me figure this out?

set your wireless router to basically function just as a WAP.

put it on the same subnet as your Linksys. Turn off DHCP on the Wireless router.

I've turned off DHCP on the wireless router, but I can't find anything in the firmware to tell the router to function as an access point. Any ideas where I should look? Any possibilities that its listed under a different name other than WAP or AP?

The rest I can handle pretty easily.

Just connect the wired router's uplink port to one of the ports on the AP (not the WAN port). Then turn of DHCP on the AP, and set a static IP on the wireless PC.

I'm trying to do a setup such as this and I can get almost everything to work.
The computers hooked up to the second router can all access the web just fine as well
each other's shared folder, however they still can't see the computers attached to the first router.
I've gone through and disabled the dhcp, nat, and firewall but it didn't help.
My wireless router is a Motorola wr850G if that helps anyone. Am I missing an option or something?

Or use a crossover cable and go normal port to normal port.

From the ezlan.net page:

First Step: Plug a computer to the Wireless Router, change the IP address of the wireless router so that it's in the same subnet as the main Router (the one that is connected to the Internet Modem); give it an IP that doesn?t conflict with the main router's base IP address, or the DHCP server range. This will ensure that you can reach the admin server of the old router from any LAN machine, and that the Wireless Clients IPs are assigned correctly.
Second Step: Switch Off the DHCP on the Wireless Cable/DSL Router, and set to Off any filters or special settings that is On if it is used as the main Router.

Plug the Wireless Router to the main Router. Regular Port to Regular Port, using crossover cable (or straight patch if one port is an Uplink).

One port on the first router is an uplink so I just ran a straight cable down to a normal port on the second router.
Current setup:
Network Everywhere (NR041) IP: 192.168.1.1
2 computers off of that
Motorola WR850G from the first's uplink port to a normal LAN port - IP: 192.168.1.254
1 wired and 1 wireless computer off of that

Computers IPs: 192.168.1.100, 192.168.1.101, 192.168.1.103, 192.168.1.104
All are in the same workgroup, just the two on the second router can't see the two on the first and vice versa.

ok was playing around a bit in cmd
ping and tracert notice the names of the computers on the first router but no data is sent.
so from [computer4] I can type "ping [computer1]" and it says
Pinging [computer1] [192.168.1.100] with 32 bytes of data:
but all requests time out
