How do i make my DVDRW disc like a floppy? So that I can add/del stuff without having to go through the burn process every single time. I'm using Nero btw.

Yup--InCD.

I don't think it's included with Nero Express though, if that's all you have (included with many burners). I think you might need to buy ultra edition.

I really don't like that feature because it eats up teh CD/DVD in no time. I used one of my CD-RW for this and after 20 transfers of this kind, the CD was finished for good. Couldn't full-erase or rewrite anything.

Yeah, InCD is a free add-on when Nero is licensed and OEM versions should be fine. However, without Mount Rainier support there will be no hardware error correction. If you're really keen on doing this, DVD-RAM is recommended for maximum reliability.

InCD ate my discs as well.. i couldnt write or erase them anymore after only a few uses.

I never had a problem but I use that feature from Roxio, they might differ?
No problems erasing, reformatting or burning as a normal DVD-R.

Packet writing is a great way to loose all your data so yea it does work just like a shoddy old floppy disk.

Is this an inherent flaw with packet wring, or the RW media? Or is it just a flamebait statement?
