How do I make a lemon drop?

If you're around NIK, I know google is my friend.

But I see varying recipes and I want to know what the standard drink is.
It's one of the few drinks my wife really likes and I want to know how to make a good one for her.

Why not ask her how she likes it?

Because she doesn't know what's in it. Her friend bought her one a couple months ago at a restaurant.

1-1/2 ounce Vodka (Citrus-flavored)
3/4 ounce Lemon Juice
1 teaspoon Sugar
Shake with ice, then strain into a shot glass rimmed with sugar. Substitute sweet & sour mix for the lemon juice and sugar if fresh lemon juice is not available.

This is the correct mix.

Well then, how are you going to know unless you make her a few samples and let her tell you? If there are various recipies then I'm sure various ones are used at various establishments.

Damn, that's a lot of 'various' in a single sentence.

What I do:
a doubleshot glass
half vodka, half sweet n sour mix
slices of lemon, doused in cane sugar
take the doubleshot, immediately sink teeth into sugared lemon slice and enjoy 🙂
