rivatuner dosent report temps i think .either
ati tray tools

or if you have an nv card,

asus smartdoctor(what i use)/whatever came with your card on the utilities cd should work

some gpus dont have temp monitors so you might just be SOL too.

My card supports gpu temps - it is the 6800gt. And yes, I thought RivaTuner allowed you to look at temps. I just can't figure out...

when the riva window comes up, click the arrow that says "customize..." by the string that lists your card, when the little pop up appears click on the one that looks like a magnifying glass and a memory chip, when the graph appears your core temp will be listed in one of the graphs.

ok got it, when the graph appears, click the "setup" button in the lower left corner and check "core temperature"
that will fix it.

When I click setup, it only gives me options to check the following:

Core Clock
Memory Clock
Core VID
Fan voltage
Framerate

How do I get the core temp to show up? Thanks!!

you must not have the newest version of rivatuner (which really doesn't make sence either, i've been monitoring temps with rivatuner the same way for years...). Get it, then try again. that, or theres something fubared with your 6800gt thats not allowing any temp readouts. there should be checks for Ambient Temperature and Core temperature.

ok, i think i found the problem. i have nvidia 71.89 drivers and I don't think they are supported by rivatuner or at least i can't find them listed. what drivers are you running?
