How do I know?

Well, everyone keeps telling me that, if I buy the ABIT NF7-S motherboard, make sure it is version 2.0. Well, I have found the board at newegg, but I don't know how to tell what version it is. Can anyone help?

V2 has black ram banks, the earlier versions have blue.

But Newegg should only have V2 in, unless you're looking at a refurb in which case no one can tell you for sure.

99% likely that by now Abit doesn't even manufacture anything but V2.0

And newegg tends to turnover their merchandise rather quickly. It's been about 1 year or more since V2.0 appeared so it's almost impossible to "accidentally" buy non-2.0. Cheers.

You could always go for DFI LanParty boards, those achieve an even higher FSB, albeit they cost more.

And finally, you could always e-mail or call them and ask.
