How do I kill Aurora?

My mom contracted some spyware/virus called aurora that as far as I can tell just maliciously pops up windows. I can't seem to get rid of it. I used Spybot S&D, as well as AdAware with all the latest updates, both run in safemode. Anyone dealt with this virus before?

I just dealt with this nasty ah heck yesterday. That tool above didn't work for some reason so I had to use a combination of Adaware 1.06 and MS's Beta AntiSpy tool (as well as Norton Corp 10 running in the background detecting and shutting down the processes as they each ran.) I did not go into safemode. Closed all windows and apps and ran the spyware apps in that order and then ran them again to confirm. Spyware was gone thankfully. If for some reason you can't get it off then you may have to do some registry hacking. I recommend you search your comp for the processes that it uses and delete the .pf files also if any are lingering as well as remove any traces from the run and runonce keys in the registry.
