I assume its the nieghbors cat but im not sure anyhoos, some cat has decided to use our garden and yard for his/her private restroom. Now normally i wouldnt care, but i hate going out there to mow and alll of a sudden realized i mowed over some cat crap and getting the smell all over me and the yard.

I heard there is some spray stuff that will make them avoid my yard is this true.

It's called lead.

Don't forget to lead them.

Cats usually try and crap in the dirt rather than the lawn, so they can bury it. Maybe you got a dysfunctional cat in your neighborhood?

Rat traps baited with raw meat. BB gun w/scope. Large, hungry, angry doggie. A plethora of items to aid you in your quest for a kitty-free yard. HTH>:)

I second the BB gun, it's just more fun to be "The Sniper..."

I had a similar problem involving neighbor's cats killing birds in my yard. Best thing to do is catch the cat in a live trap, take it to the pound, and then call your neighbor to inform him/her where they can find their cat. Do that a few times and I guarantee they'll keep the cat out of your yard.

well, you could try a dog. But that would probably be a bigger mess. There is some sort of stuff that you can pick up at Home Depot. It's a jelly of some sort. But it won't last long in the rain. The other option is that ultra sonic sound thingy that drives away mice, cats, rats, dogs that sort of thing. Again, check it out at home depot. I've see it there.

tazer guns work nicely on cats, dogs, neigbor kids, and pretty much anyone/thing you want to keep away from your yard...

Our cats do that and our neighbors think it is a fine price to pay for the rodent removal service they provide, as well as the free fertilizing...

BTW, are you sure it is a cat? If it isn't being buried it is more likely somebodys dog or other assorted vile beast. (Can you tell I'm a cat person ;))

If it is a cat, nailing it once or twice with the hose should do the trick.
