How do I keep scandisk from running when Windows XP boots?

One of my drives is still fat 32.. how do I keep windows from running scandisk on it when I restart with out doing it the proper way?

If you didn't shut down properly, trust me you want scandisk to run on a fat volume....

convert the drive to NTFS, it will keep your data far safer.
>convert x: /fs:ntfs /nosecurity

That's for Windows 98/Me (the IDE casche package) we have no reason to believe that it will work with XP.
