Ok I'm playing around with a siemens sx56 (a pocket pc and a phone device) I need to access some java enabled websites but the pocket pc OS doesn't come with java support. How and where do I get what I need to enable java support on this device?

Yeah I've done some searching on the web and apparently the pocket internet explorer version that comes with the pocket pc is based off of version 3!

And it looks like you have to buy 3rd party apps if you want ssl support as well as java.

What garbage! I can't even access hotmail with this device:|

I love it when companies put out a device and then don't support it:|

I would love for anyone to prove me wrong.
What's the point of having such a device?

Nope doesn't work:( it's not for the xscale cpu's. I've also seen the netfront before and since it's not free I can't be bothered to try it.

Isn't XScale ARM?

Blackdown has a Java2 SE port for Linux ARM, but I have no idea about toy platforms like WinCE. :p It's more resource intensive than J2ME of course.

Actually, from that link civad provided, I would try out SavaJe. I recall reading it works well.
