How do I identify a 9700np from a 9700pro?

I ordered a 9700Pro, however ...

The sticker on the back says "9700" ...

How do I know for sure that I recieved a 9700, not a 9700Pro? I dont wanna jump the gun on this

Clock speeds for the card are 325 core and 310 memory so if you have that then yours is a Pro.

Run 3DMark 03 with no AA/AF (Peformance) check out your scores and compare with someone who has simular CPU specs as yours.

stock speeds 324/311

If you enter the part number here, you see if it is a genuine 9700 Pro

Also, the DDR on the 9700 Pro should be Samsung with these markings:

Samsung 226
K4D26323RA-CG2A

The 9700 Pro's DDR is rated to run @350MHz but is set to run at 310MHz

sometimes it is difficult to tell if it's a pro. I ordered and payed for a np and it does indeed have np memory, but it was clocked as a pro by the factory

The Radeon 9700 Pro featured an ultra-high 325 MHz core and 620 MHz memory speeds, so it would only be natural for the Radeon 9700 to tone these down somewhat, in order to hit a lower price point. That's exactly what ATI has done, and the Radeon 9700 sports lower core and memory speeds, while not losing any of the core features that made the Pro version such a hit.

The Radeon 9700 runs at 275 core and 540 MHz memory, which is a noticeable drop from the Radeon 9700 Pro. The key is that lower clock speeds is really all you're losing, as the Radeon 9700 still includes 8 pixel pipelines, and a 256-bit interface to the 128-MB of DDR memory.
