you need to get a 1/8 stereo TO RCA cable and hook the 1/8 stereo plug into your soundcard and the RCA part into the AUX inputs for your minisystem

Plug this into the output of your soundcard and use an rca (stereo) cable from the adapter to your stereo.

<< What is an RCA cable? Does it come with the stereo? >>

its the kind of cable that has red, white and yellow ends like the kind you use to plug a video game system up to a tv. a coax cable is like the wire that comes out of the wall from you cable provider.

RCA cables are the ones that have the colored ends, red/yellow/white.. red for right audio channel, white for left audio, and yellow for video(if applicable)

Ah.. I have them... now all I need is those cables here ... and it will work.

Does anybody know of a store, not an online store, which carries these? I ain't really in the mood to order these things online.

If you have a discman you already have the cable. Plug the one connector end into line-out on your computer and the red/white end into your stereo aux-in.
