I just called Radio Shack and they told me it can't be done. Or if it could be done I would need a video card with a tv output device. Is this true? I would love to play Madden or Halo at a high resolution!!

My monitor:

Sony trinitron 19"mutliscan G420

help plz!! 🙂🙂😀

If you go to Babbages in the mall, you'll find a device that can pull it off. But, unlike the dreamcast, the XBOX doesn't have native VGA support. Thus, you are really just buying a device that can convert composite signals to VGA. Generally they just double the lines or somthing along those lines. So, I doubt it's going to look any better...and nothing as good as the Dreamcast TV->VGA jump.

The best way is to get the MS HD Pack, and an component to VGA adapter. That way you can get true progressive output instead of line doubling from a crappy composite cable which won't look much better...

Problem: that component--->VGA adapter is 150$

You need an video upscan converter. They may have some weird name like VGA box or something, but technically, that's what they all are.
