How do i go back to the old CS?

I updated with the new 1.3 and 1008....but i can't play with my old servers...how can i go back to play them?

i dunno if u can revert back. i ended up unistalling and reinstalling when i went to 1.1 and wanted to go back...

they'll switch soon enough which is actually too bad cause 1.3 sucks ass...

You have to wait for servers to update. In the past, it wasn't a problem (heck if you didn't upgrade the hour of the release, you couldn't play anywhere), but now there's so few download sites to choose from. And out of those, fewer work properly or have faster download rates.

I'm disappointed with Valve on the new patch for the amount of time spent on it. Seems quite unstable, breaks OpenGL for Radeon users, breaks most mods (except Counter-Strike, surprise? We think not), and the VoiceCom sounds terrible (like most VoiceCom programs). As for CS 1.3, I'm sure it'll be the same old gameplay as before, with the same old bunnyhopping (yes it's still here!). Hoo-Ha!

I'd expect another patch soon.

It seems they changed the way the guns fire or kick slightly, or headshots are easier...

The "feel" isn't quite the same...

Totally stable for me however...
