How do I go about getting a job doing what I want?

I've never had a job in my life and I have a semester left in my junior year in college.
My only skills would be doing anything with computers, but I have no 'experience'.
I do not have a degree either and all I want to do right now is work for some company in an office. It's hard to write a resume since I have no previous work experience.

.....Fast food my only option?

restaurant server, Retail CSR, phone tech support, part-time desktop support, etc. etc.

EDIT: And to answer your question, you APPLY for the jobs you want to do.

Find a local computer repair shop, a small one that is, and do work for them. They make quite a bit more than you can imagine

Also, search around for internships, getting a paid internship would be very good

But how did you get all the way to junior year in college and still never had a part time job?

Going to be a pain unless you finish school or grab a temp job for a few months and then quit just for work experience but make sure you leave on good terms. 😛

start at the bottom (how low depends on how long you're willing to hold out). Start applying for better positions every 6 months, never stay at a place more than a year. Within a couple of year you'll be where you want to be.

something will spark you and you'll be interested in it. then you'll probably change careers a few times.

Yes, interning during college with a company would help a lot. Then normally you get paid and you can have your foot in the door right when you graduate. 🙂 🙂
