how do I get zone alarm to let my 2 comps see each other?

I have the 2 computers networked, but I can't get them to see each other. I'm pretty sure its b/c of zone alarm. I would like to be able to share a printer.

If it is Zone Alarm go into the security tab and take the local selector down to medium.

I'm having the same problem...bringing it down to medium or low didn't solve the problem for me. I can access the other computer if i shut down zonealarm though.

Then check the box, next to your NIC...

That should do the trick..

Do not check parts that connect to the internet, like a modem, or a dialup network...

Only check the NIC conneting the 2 computers...

under advanced settings...you can add IP addresses you trust...add the other computers IP and do the same on the other machine.

install netbeui for winxp. I was having the same problem. Installing netbeui solved it.
