How do I get to Kennedy Space Center?

Assuming I'm staying at a Cocoa Beach FL hotel and don't want to rent a car?

Reason? Looking to see if I could make a trip to Florida for the Space Coast Marathon in November without renting a vehicle. Flying into MCO, there's round trip shuttles from the airport to the race host hotels, and to/from the race start/finish to those same hotels. But, the Expo and PreRace dinner is at Kennedy, and not seeing anything listed on their site for transportation services there.

Anyone have insight?

Yes, sent an email inquiry to the RDs. The KSC site just they don't have any regular transportation and to check the Cocoa Beach/Space Coast commerce sites. Those do list several cab companies, which are on my list to contact.

Seems like KSC would be a popular destination, enough to have shuttles from major hotels in the area. Most of what I'm seeing on Google are shuttles to the cruise lines that depart from there.

Rentals in/around MCO are dirt cheap. Why are you trying to avoid renting?

The Visitor's complex is a very easy drive from CB. Definitely rent a car, taxi would probably be a large fraction of the cost.

Because a rental for two days would almost certainly be more expensive than a round trip taxi from CB hotel to KSC. That'd be all that'd be needed.

How'd you come up with that figure? Seems quite high.

Edit - A check at Enterprise, Economy rental is 62/day. Plus the toll roads. 😛

Should add that I hate driving. 😛

...then call a taxi company. Seriously, this is the South. Public transport is largely nonexistant. Either pony up to rent a car or charter a taxi. Those are your only two options that don't involve walking or biking.
