How do I get the "UXTheme" hack to work properly and how to I get the Longhorn theme to install?

SSP uploaded his Longhorn which can be had here, farther down the page.

However when I do everything (place UXTheme.dll in system32 and system32/dllcache) the taskbar won't change, just the color tint.

Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? Windows XP Professional SP1 here...

You can't just copy the dll... the system backs it up. I know the process involves a reboot, but I don't remember what exactly you have to do.

Oh, oops. Maybe that's why sometimes the Plex Longhorn theme made my system go all black so I couldn't see what I was doing...
