How do I get the picture icon back in my start menu for WinXP?

My picture icon that was beside my name has disappeared leaving only my name. I have already enable the picture through control panel->useraccounts, but it still does not show up. I think this disappeared when I tried to network with another pc, or when I installed powertoys for xp. Can anyone help? Thanks

i went to controlpanel-->useraccounts-->change the way users log on or off-->toggle "use welcome screen" on or off , then log off and on again, and my icon is back to normal.
