Well, if you're using a CDRW drive, chances are you have a Roxio EZ CD Creator. For me it's definately the best and the fastest method to rip CDs. All you have to do is to insert the original CD, press the 'get names' button to auto download song titles and select the mp3 bitrate. I love that program!

The audio on your CD is in a CDA/WAV format. You want to change (or encode) them into MP3 format.

I was going to refute that but I just installed it and it's just as easy as CDEx. I'm sold.
