How do I get rid of Residual Windows XP???

Just reformatted and resinstalled win XP Pro... yet on the Boot up screen, it goes into multi-OS select, and it shows 2 copies of Win XP (Home and Pro).

How do I completely get rid of the Home, or atleast not have it go into OS select everytime I boot up?

Strange since I even deleted all partitions and reformatted...

You can just edit the boot.ini or you can do a re-install but make sure you delete the existing partition and re-partition the hdd.

its in the root of the o/s partition
you have to unhide hidden files and hidden system files in folder options/view
you open it in notepad

where is this boot.ini?

right click My Computer > Properties > Advanced tab > Startup and Recovery Settings > Edit

EDIT: whats the difference between:
"/execute=optin /fastdetect"
and
"/noexecute=optin /fastdetect"
