how do I get rid of os boot options?

I reinstalled xp pro on my laptop (using ibm restore disk and formated c🙂
and when I turn on the lappy

it gives me 3 options before it about to load up the os
xp pro
previous xp pro (nothing in there)
upgrade/install

how do I get rid of this and just load my os with out me selecting xp pro?

Right click my computer, choose properties, advanced tab, startup and recovery settings, then choose the default operating system from the drop down menu. You may also need to uncheck the box that sets the "time to display list of other operating systems". Or you can also manually edit the boot.ini file from there by clicking the edit button. Find the lines under [operating systems] corresponding to the boot options you do not need and delete them.
