Ok, I did a search on spam and no one offered a good solution to get rid of it. I know if you reply with Unsubscribe, it will only add you to 9999999999999999999999999 more lists. So How do i fix this problem without changing my email every freakin 3 weeks?

I use outlook express to check my email. is there some great (very cheap, Even free) software out there i can get to block this crap?

thanks for any comic relief and any suggestions

Mail washer will help somewhat.

You mark the "junk" and it bounces it back, so it looks like it wasn't delivered.

You can also preview what mail you get with it and get rid of the CRAP before it goes to Outlook.

Cloudmark is decent at doing it, but the best way is to have one email address that you only ever give to friends and family, and have a spam account at hotmail you use in order to register at different websites.

I just set up rules in outlook. It does a fine job. I use the junk email list and some costum rules. It works great for me.

This is the best solution. Use one email for family/friends/ecommerce (reputable sites will not spam you unless you opt in/forget to opt out), and spamholes (www.spamhole.com) for everything else.

May want to add a third email option for forums. Some popular forums are targeted by spam bots (happened here once), so it helps to have one that you can check but isn't used for other stuff.

Try this I downloaded it, tried it out, then bought it a couple of weeks ago. Works very well. I use Outlook 2002 and it is flawless and easy to setup. Supposedly works well in OE but a bit differently. Bought their anti-popup program as well.

I hate Spam

I hate popups

Both are doing a great jb for me. Better than anything else I've ever tried.

I'm going to give it a try aswell.

I downloaded it allready.

But FIRST I'm gonna reply to every one of them with the above PIC attatched. ;)

If you use Outlook, this program is the best out there. Once you train it will a nice supply of spam forget ever seeing spam again. I had the same email address for 8 years (no joke) and I get 50+ pieces of spam a day. This takes care of it. You really can't beat Bayesian filters for effectiveness.

Post your email address to as many forums and blogs as possible, followed by the words "Do Not Spam This Address". Spammers have special software programs that will detect this and remove you from their mailing lists.

Remember: You Must Start Every Word In "Do Not Spam This Address" With A Capital Letter For It To Work.
