It's a Motorola RAZR, Cingular, I'm pretty sure just the plain V3. My computers are a Windows XP pc without Bluetooth, and a Ubuntu PC that has bluetooth but I can't figure out how to configure it. And I'd prefer to not have to buy PhoneTools or pay out the wazoo to send them as emails.

Edit: I guess what I'm asking is, is there a way to generically connect to the phone via USB to grab the pictures or to send them as text messages and have them reach my email or something?

if you phone has bluetooth, you can transfer by bluetooth. if not, you can use the data cable. or you can always email or something.

Plug it in, go to my computer, and go to your phone?

This probably belongs in peripherals or general hardware.

Since you don't want to e-mail it or set up bluetooth, you're probably going to have to buy a data cable.

EDIT: I have Cingular, and I pay for a text messaging plan, and I don't get charged for sending media messages (picture & video) through e-mail or other phones.

TFM doesn't say.

Edit: connecting with a plain USB cable, it's recognized as existing and being plugged in, but it is apparently not accessible, under Ubuntu. Experimenting.
