I am sooo frustrated getting off the boat and getting waxed without even making it to the third row of obstacles in the water. At first I thought the gauntlet of soldiers in the sub was tough, but at least you saw who was shooting at you...

It's just as bad as someone standing in a doorway of a multiplayer game of RTCW (with friendly fire off) - MOVE! you idiot!
 
uh... it's actually pretty easy

the bullets come at you in "rounds"... then none for a second or two... then another "round".... then none for a second or two notice the pattern ??

just run... hide... run... hide.. run... find medic etc.. (not in that pattern... just an example)
 
yes like punk said, watch the patterns, and as soon as they stop shooting at you, run for the next cover spot , before you get to the end try and find a medic to heal you if you lose lots of life.
 
punk summed it up perfectly. it took me like a half our of grief before i realized you have to pause then go. also, when you get up to the end of the beach and the guy gives you a sniper rifle, watch out for the mines. good luck.

Oh, I know. I came home from an irish pub last night after playing trivia (and drinking) for a couple of hours. Of course, I hit the beers in my fridge before thinking, hey! I'll go play MOHAA for a little while before hitting the sack.

Heh, after being turned on to the "patterns" by the good folks here at ATOT, I got all smugly w/myself...now I can't get across the minefield. It sucks to get blown up like that...you see the horizon get all sideways as your body is blown into the air and comes down...hard. There must be a pattern, "a walkthru" for the mines as well, eh?
 
Um, right after you put those "bombalot" or "burstalot" pipe-looking things into the sand and they blow the bunker, you are ordered to run across the minefield. Your CO says "stick to the craters." that got my ass blown up. 🙁 That part.
