I have a Maxtor 160gb hard drive, but my computer only recognizes it to be a 120gb. What am I supposed to do to make it recognize the actual size of the hd?
Which windows version? You might have to partition it into 2 80-gig partitions, because older versions did not support drives larger than 137 gigs, if I'm not mistaken.
Dood, if you're checking how big you HDD is in GIGABYTES in "My Computer" then you have to realize that it's not correct. Look at how big your HDD is in BYTES. It should say ~160,000,000,000
